2 mufflers or 1 muffler

Do you guys think 2 dual chamber flows would be louder than a single flowmaster that is one in/two out????? I think I want my ride quiet (just not stock quiet) and I already have the one in/two out muffler. So what do you guys think? btw its going on my 82 malibu with a 305.
sorry not very pro-touring related but thought I'd ask anyway.

Hi Eric, how tricks? Why not run a 3 chamber? I think you car should be fairly quiet on acount of the cat...you are gonna run your cat right? :naughty: 2 1/2" pipe, cross over and 2 3 chambers should work.
