Well, it's time to move on from the days of sitting in a lawn chair at a car show all day. Plans are in the works to take our Platinum beauty from it's current show appearance and step into autocross trim. We'll be doing away with the stock HEI and moving to a Computer controlled MSD system to take full advantage of the Holley Terminator EFI. A Canton Road Race fully baffled oil pan with High Volume Melling pump should control lubrication in the turns. We'll be redesigning some stiffer, front upper shock mounts and add some chassis bracing to help with chassis flex. Looking at moving to the CPP Mod spindle to add a Wilwood or StopTech big brake package and thoughts of swapping in a 9in. has crossed my mind as well. Been also looking at some racing buckets to replace the factory bench, like the Cobras or maybe Sparcos. Plans are still in the works but also looking at eventually getting another set of wheels and moving to 295 wide tires at all 4 corners in a 200 tread wear, something like the Falken RT615K or BFG Rivals, with Forgeline wheels. It will be a work-in-progress, as we have been busy building the new shop and will have to budget the finances as time allows. Stay tuned as the fun continues at Gearbox Garage.

Giving the C10 some attention, finally getting a chance to get out to an event! We'll be at the Motorstate Challenge Auto cross day and using this as a baseline to start making changes to the C10.

We participated in the Motor State Challenge dinner cruise yesterday. Wasn't able to make it to Gingerman today, but we will be hitting the autocross tomorrow at Tire Rack in South Bend.

Made a few improvements to the truck last week before the event. I ditched the drop-out battery box for something more ridged. Fabbed up a mounting bracket to mount a Detroit Speed battery relocating mount for under the bed. It's tucked up nice now and won't be going anywhere.

The BP10 Pads were replaced with Polymatrix E pads and I was really happy with there track performance, but man are they noisy when cold!

A few action shots... Had a great time and learned a lot about the truck and where I need to improve on driving skills

Finally took some time out of my busy schedule to attend a car show and do some relaxing. Haven't done that in a long time. We went to the Berger Chevrolet All GM Show in Grand Rapids, MI. Had a great time and met some cool people.

Thanks for all of the compliments. We should have a good chance this winter to make some of the updates that we have planned. We'll see how the new shop schedule goes. We are making the jump to being a full time business in 2 weeks and it's pretty exciting! Wish us luck!

I was finally able to put a little bit of time into some updates on the C10 between customer projects. Ordered up some custom valved RideTech shocks to replace the QA1's that were in there.
