Need help identifying an old car

Hoping someone will be able to tell me what make and model this car is, here is a picture of my maternal grandfather next to a cool old ride, the plate says 32, I searched for hours looking at old car pictures and find nothing in the late twenties up to 32 even looked up to 34 for a while, some things about this car I don't see on many others are the how the front fender skirts behind the front tire, the split windshield, how the grill curves around the front and dual cowl vents, if the tree wasn't in the background the hood ornament would be more visible.

1933 Desoto however the fenders aren't right those are closer to a 34 Plymouth

1934 desoto has the skirted fenders and the same bumper. Couldn't tell about the cowl vents. It has the same split window as well.

well I was thinking all 34s are airflows but they must have built both airflows and non airflows.
