I'm doing a 69 Firebird but I can't go with a "bolt in" kit as my leaf spring pockets are gone so I can't do a tradition bolt in rear kit which is why a full frame maybe the way to go. The rockers and inner rockers are very good. Truck is pretty good. Quarters and tail panel are being replaced due to rust and minor damage. Inner fender wells are nice but will get cut out for wider tires.

Project has changed, replacing all sheet metal on this car. Not looking for a full frame anymore. Looking for a sub frame kit, disc, rack and mounts for a LS engine. A rear coil over kit will be fine. I have used front and rear Ride Tech coil over suspension kit on my 78 Bandit TA project in the past. I like but they do not have sub frame kits.
LS motor will be built a bit and maybe a pro charger or turbo. I do not have a rear other than a 10 bolt I didn't want to use, rather not put the normal ford 9" in either. I know they are good, I had one in my drag car but they are big, ugly and FORD. yuck! I have a stock sub frame but thinking a aftermarket sub frame would make more sense with the coil over shocks, disc brakes, rack and mounts done. I see Detroit Speed, Speed Tech and Heidts. All seem nice but is that all that is out there?

What is your budget and intended use? With all that you describe take a look at the DSE subframe, Quadralink and subframe connectors. An alternative is a rear clip such as Chassisworks canted 4 bar pro-touring setup https://www.cachassisworks.com/c-494-canted-4-link-4x2.aspx

Art Morrison has a weld in replacement frame for the rear. Although a bit more work than others replacing the stock rear rails is more than worth the work. They have a triangulated four link, a three link, and an IRS. With subframe connectors a full frame can be essentially achieved.

We also offer a bolt in full frame that requires minimal fabrication.
