Gbody frame notch.

I have an 87 cutlass supreme. I need to fit 11-11.5 tire under wheel wells. I have seen the notching done and a mini tub. Can notching get me there or should I just go mini tub. I am getting aftermarket wells too. Budget build so I would appreciate any insight

You need to look at the backspacing/offset of the rims you are planning to use. Get the wheel off, set the suspension at ride height and measure how much room you have under there.

You will need a notch and tubs to fit that wide of a tire. You will need to cut out the old tub, I would buy premade wheel tubs and cut the floor and new tubs to fit. You will also get into the supports for the trunk hinge that are spot welded to the tubs. Not hard, but very time consuming....
