Any ideas. The wheels have only been bolted on the car. Never driven
I wasn't the one who painted it

My bumper repair guy uses clay bar to remove this type of over spray. Buy a kit and use the spray and bar.

It may come off with 3m perfect it rubbing compound and a micro fiber clothe.. and elbow grease,, lots of elbow grease.. The have a pretty smooth finish so the paint or primer hopefully didn't stick to well.. good luck

You can try a little thinner. Test in a hidden spot first

I would try some laquer thinner first. Put some on a rag and do a test on the back of wheel to see if it disturbs the paint on the wheel, or discolors it at all. If it doesn't, all that overstay will come off with hardly any work at all.

I would use low odor mineral spirit. It is less harsh than a paint thinner. I would also try a spot first.
