I have been looking at TMI interior and am wondering what the overall thoughts are on quality? I am in the middle of wyo and the closest good custom upholstery shop quoted me 12 to 15g to do the interior with leather. This is just a number I received when I called the guy on the phone. I am curious what a complete TMI interior would run? If anyone has gone this route. If it is good quality and I could install it myself and save a substantial amount of money it may be the way to go. Thanks for the feedback..

I have to say I'm definitely a fan. Can't say prices since I get it through a friend's shop, but even retail is a great deal for a killer custom looking interior. I've used it twice, and both results were simply top notch.
1st was the 71 Chevelle SS my dad and I built for his brother a few years back. We went with the first complete Sport R interior (they had only built show buckets, they had to rush a back seat pattern for this car). It looked great. Left the headrests off because it looked cleaner.

Also went with the full Sport XR interior (seats, door panels, headliner) in my 66 Mustang. Once again very nice quality, and looked great. Other than a glue issue with the headliner, which they replaced after they fixed the problem, it was all great stuff. Don't have installed pics on my photobucket unfortunately.

The seat covers were all installed in my living room, and I'm somewhat skilled in installing upholstery, I've installed a few covers in the past before.

We used TMI on last year's Raybestos 1971 Camaro giveaway car we built, and are using it on the 2016 giveaway, a 69 Mustang.
Their quality is nice, and so are the employees!
They have their own seat that is quite comfortable.. or you can get the upholstery kits.
$12k-15k is average for a nice custom leather interior with some added accent trim & a full trunk upholstery in our experience.
Leather alone for a complete car ran range from $3000-$4000 easy.
The TMI kits use vinyl so they're pretty inexpensive.
We just became a dealer so if you have an idea of what you want PM me and i'll see what I can work up...
