Hi,

I've just started the process of getting everything sorted out for my 1968 Camaro project and noticed that I have one RS and one SS fender. They are both in great shape so my hope was to be able to just keep them and get a headlight adapter and the appropriate inner fenders. I wasn't planning on doing the flip light setup. I was wondering if this would be fine or if there would be any other hangups I might run into. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I've included a link to my OneDrive album of pics.

The above link didn't work for me on mobile so here's the full one...

do a fitment first....I have an 1968 RS car and standard buckets and light parts fit with out issue.....if-it doesn't fit its only an adapter that has to be removed..since you have an RS fender and want to to go standard grill its just an easy removal of the inner adapter bracket you might have to bend a few tabs back into place(sometime factory bent them backwards out of the way...not always)

Thanks for the reply. From what I've seen it looks like I'd be fine sticking with all standard body panels and just dealing with the one fender light bracket.

I actually have a pair of used standard brackets if you are interested. They were hard to find cuz they are not made by the aftermarket companies. i did not feel like buying a whole fender just for the brackets. pm if you are intersted.
