Wow I'm going to say yes to all that should of been welded and I would think the vibrations of driving are going to Crack that don't understand what some body shops are thinking

That'll probably show through in a year. I'd pay extra to have it welded.

I would also question your painters abilities.
If there is any hole that isn't being used that needs to be deleted it needs to be welded before any body work.

If he did them correctly (as far as cold weld filling goes) which includes slightly sinking & chamfering the holes, it shouldn't crack. What does happen though is ghost shadowing which sometimes can just come & go in different temperatures.
But , if in primer, it should be sanded back & drilled out to either be migged or tigged. Not every painter has fabrication abilities, so they use other methods when they can't do it the best way. Just hope the rest of his work was decent enough.

Wow, that's a new low for me! I would get rid of that ASAP, I wouldn't rely on hoping they took the right precautions. Welding holes isn't a big deal for even the most novice bodymen, and isn't a difficult repair currently, while in primer. It'll be a much bigger headache down the road if it were to pop out while it was painted.

I'll fix it when the restoration starts

Weld it now before it's painted! What is just a minor job now, could become a major expense once it is in paint.

I 100% know you will see it.....should of been welded up. problem it the jb weld or any glue /epoxy/ filler ect... will expand and contract at different rates than the steel on your fenders and as a result you will see the outlines ( rings) .....how do I know ? probally 20 years ago when panel bonds/ structural glue came out every rep out there claimed glueing patches in was the next best greatest thing....fast and easy yes. but they all showed! they no longer recommend that ...same idea
you painter is cutting a corner ....sorry

I think you guys are a little over the top. I see no difference in using JB Weld to fill the holes in the fenders than using spackling to fix cracks in fiberglass bathtubs...

If they where not welded I would have used 8115 panel bonder as it wont shrink or split. And it adheres to sheet metal much better.

The 8115 panel adhesive is some really good stuff.
