Body shop damaged some trim in removal

What should I do? Damage was done upon removal. Does the body shop replace or repair? Do I eat it? We have no written contract or clauses. Yes I'm stupid for not having a contract. I have tried a dozen times to get paper work but the shop owner ignores requests.

The trim that goes on the top of the door was bent and it tore. The part was on the car when I delivered and the shop removed it. It's probably a pretty expensive piece. The window felt attaches to it. Car is a 1967 Gto hardtop
