Has anyone heard anything about "Figment design and chassis"? I saw that they make a subframe for gen 2 F-bodys, and I'm wondering if anyone has one or has reviewed one.
Thanks

Here's their website by the way

That subframe you linked to would be appropriate in a drag racing or pro-street application where the primary goal is to cut as much weight as possible. But it is far too lightly constructed to be anywhere near rigid enough for any serious lateral G loads. It appears to be setup to use a stock style anti-sway bar, a conventional steering box rather than a steering rack and improved steering geometry was likely a minor design consideration. Even their web video only shows cars drag racing with no reference to improved cornering. So I would say: Drag racing YES, Pro-Touring NO!

Compare it to a true PT subframe. Note the size and number of cross members as well as the size of the actual frame rails. I would also point out that all of the subframes pictured below weigh significantly less than a stock subframe.

FDC subframe.

Just for comparison the DSE PT subframe.

And a SpeedTech PT subframe

Finally, a No Limit PT subframe.
