LSX 454 throttle body touching the water pump

hi everyone

this is my first post on this forum, I have a problem with installing 102mm Electric throttle body on my lsx 454 engine , the problem as shown below the throttle body is touching the water pump so any suggestion to fix it ,, note that I installed the LS7 intake and heads and the serpentine for corvette. !!

simple. Grind the throttle body since only air is going in it. Rather do that then the water pump. Simple carbine bit will fix that in 5 min

actually what you said is a good solution but at the picture the throttle body look like it is installed on the intake but it is not actually the touching is too much and even if i did Simple carbine on both of them i afraid of leaking water ,, any why i found a solution and i want to advise ,, check it below

Unless I'm missing something adding a groove in the throttle body shouldn't be a issue. Can you take a better side pic?

I have a extra water pump here that i just looked at that will work and clear your throttle body. Only issue is the upper radiator hose is on the right side of the pulley instead of the left like your setup.

Looks like a new pump may be your best bet. You have an LS1 pump on there now.

I have some 09+ LS water pumps for sale in our "cleaning shop" thread in the parts for sale for good prices. The only difference is the outlet is on the drivers side not the passenger side. It would still work on your application though.
