This is for a possible sale..I am looking at switching to stack FI over the Winter, so mulling the sale of my current set up to partially fund it.
This would be an awesome set up for someone building a vintage style car or just want something different than a Holley!
It will be available in a couple of weeks, an awesome Christmas gift for someone!! And there is NO better intake sound!
What I have is a very nice complete 4 x Dellorto 48 downdraft set up for small block chevy.
This is a great, very sorted intake set up. The intake is a vintage Mackay unit. The ports have been welded, epoxied and port matched for the 210 CC AFR heads. Tthese intakes where never intended to be used with the modern big port heads. So I had the top edge of the intake face welded up and then had the mounting faces machined square, you do have to use the thicker .120 fel-pro gaskets but it works perfectly. Originally it had 4 pairs of runners that would bolt up to the intake base, they have now been epoxied in place and then matched to the intake opening. Intake was originally polished, it was sanded and painted 2K “cup grey”, easy to clean and looks “business like” The runners have vacuum ports if you want to run vacuum lines off of them for brakes or advance.
Comes complete with throttle linkage, bracket(uses a Lokar cable).
The carbs are Dellorto 48 DRLA’s. Dellorto’s are considered to be more tune able and perform better than Weber’s (especially the new weber’s) They all have new top plates with the bigger fuel inlets, Earls anodized fittings, new floats a few years ago, billet trumpets and come with numerous spare gaskets/jets/air correctors etc. etc.
The fuel feed system is included that includes a special plate that bolts into the wipe motor location for a C3 corvette, this plate holds 2 holley fuel pressure regulators. The fuel feeds through the windshield wiper well (for a nice clean look).Also included is a digital FAST air/fuel meter with oxygen sensors to help tuning.
So you get -
1 x custom Mackay Intake
Throttle linkage, cable, return springs
4 x Dellorto 48 DRLA’s. All mounting hardware
All fuel lines including 2 x fuel pressure regulators, Earls fittings and black braided fuel line
FAST Air/fuel meter
Numerous spares/gaskets/jet drills/tuning guide/balancing tool.
You WILL need an L88 hood! Intake gaskets (.120 thick), O2 bungs for your exhaust and air filters ( You could do the Pipercross ones, they look great on this set up)
