Hey there! My name is Brianna. I'm in the process of restoring my '68 Camaro that my dad gave me when I was a kid. My dad has since passed away, and I have a bunch of Camaro questions. Currently looking at wheels and tires. I'd like to run 18inch wheels, but not sure on the front and rear width. Any info is appreciated.

Welcome! Is there anything in particular you plan to do with the Camaro, or just looking to have fun and cruise around?
A common wheel size is 18x8 and 18x9- you could do the small up front, or go x9 all 4 corners.
For the back spacing measurement around 4.5" for the 8" wheel and 5" for the 9" will fit and is easy to find.

Hi Brianna, welcome to the forums. Nice to see ladies taking part in the hobby and restoring their cars. Dale's suggestions are on the money as you'd expect, my 68 had a similar set up and no issues at all. Cheers, Trevor.

Thanks guys! I just plan on cruising and taking it to car shows. I'd would like to check racing the 1/4 mile off of my bucket list too ;) I had rear disk brakes put on, would that affect the back spacing?

Hi Brianna, the disc brake conversion could make a slight difference in backspacing, you would need to measure the thickness of the drum where it went onto the axle flange and compare that to the thickness of the disc rotor in the same area. It may or may not be enough to make a difference, but it's best to make sure. You'll have to post some pictures of your car for us when you get a chance. Cheers, Trevor.
