One of these are possibly going into go in my 72' Pontiac Lemans... Any experience with any of these seats? Comfort? Quality? Fit? I'm 6'6", medium framed, 240ish lbs.

I also have considered other Procar Sportsman seats but wasn't too sure about fit and what not but if anyone has experience with them or any other brand (on the cheaper sides please) I'd like to get info on it.

Thanks!

The Cipher seats are not designed for a big or even mid size person. I had a set like the top picture and had to replace them because they were just too narrow on the hips for comfort. Not to mention they are a cheaply made seat. If you want a pair I will sell you the ones I have for cheap just to get them out of my shed but I doubt they will be a good fit for you.

What model are your seats? I'd be interested to see the specs on them.

I'm 6'6" 230lbs, and I went with Corbeau A4 Wide, with shaved base on the driver side, and Planted seat brackets with the legs cut shorter and re-welded.

A lot of work so my hair doesn't touch the headliner!

I have the procar seats and I really like them. I am 5'9 180 broad shoulders and they fit me great

I'm 6'5 and around 245. I just installed Sparco Chrono Road seats in my Chevelle. I used their sliders, but I made my own mounts to get them right on the floor. They are very comfortable for me both on casual drives and autox.

I sat in many seats over two months before I found these, and they fit me like I wanted. YMMV, but try before you buy.

Mr Nick here are the seats pics from Analyte's page.

Good looking seats for sure. Unfortunately they are just a bit outside of my budget and I'd like to get vinyl/leatherette to match the backseat covering.

Analyte: what seat belts are you using there?

Thanks for the pics, I should have thought of that....lol

I'm using 4 point harness, but the harness bar wasn't installed when these pics were taken. Only the lower straps are visible.

One other point is that I moved away from slick materials as I kept sliding on the slide at the track. At some point I'll recover them with leather and suede inserts, but they will work for now.

Good point about the sliding... didn't think of that.

Looking good, thanks for the pictures.

If I have the itch to swap seats for some reason, I'll keep these in mind. I also like the GTS II, more of a stock look.

I have the Cipher 1013 like you show above in my car. I'm 6'1 ~250 lbs and the seat is just about too small. It pinches in on my legs, but is not unbearable. They sit too high as well as my head hits the side with a helmet on. They are cheaply made. I had two welds break while I was autocrossing! Not a good feeling! If I had to do it again I would keep my stock passenger seat and spend the money on the Corbeau A4 Wide.

How comfortable are those A4 wide's ? I have been looking at them, I'm 6'-4'' 250lbs, 40'' waist with a bad back ! I would like to sit in one but haven't had the opportunity.

They are very comfortable for a reasonably priced aftermarket seat, but I will say the shaved base on the driver side does feel different than the passenger side. Corbeau claims no difference, they are wrong. If you are expecting the kind of comfort you'd get from SRT, GTO, or CTS-V factory seats, you'll be disappointed. I did the Hot Rod Power Tour this year, up to 10 hours per day in the car, all good!

Only issue I have on longer trips is this..., the side bolster on the seat base starts to dig into my thigh and that can get annoying. It only happens on the right side, because my left leg my knee is either resting on the door or I can move my leg around and adjust. Can't do that with my right leg.

Getting in and out is not the same as a normal seat. I find it's best to place my body down "into" the seat, due to the side bolsters. I have micorfiber seats, which are NOT slippery. If you went with leather, you could probably sit down and rotate/slide into your seating position pretty easily.

Hope this helps!

Yes it does help, My wife's car is an 09 CTS and those seats I would consider mildly comfortable. If the A4's aren't at that level I might keep looking.
I installed a set of late model BMW seats in my 65 El Camino and feel they are a little firm but very comfortable. The down side of those are the weight (very heavy) and not a lot of side bolster to keep you in the seat at the autocross.
