Baer Rotor Opinions?

Looking to upgrade drums to Track4 kit in front and a SS4 kit in the rear. The main reason for looking at Baer is they have the best options for my big bearing 12 bolt (68 Impala).

Question is how are the rotors? It's a street car that may see a road course in the distant future. The front kit has one piece 13" fronts and I would get SLOT only, not drilled.

Really the only negatives I see online about Baer are the high cost and so-so longevity of the rotors. I understand setup, compound, and use will affect this dramatically so high perf street applications would best to zero in on.

Any real world input or opinions?

We've used Baer on many shop vehicles that get raced. These use 13 or 14 inch rotors with 6 piston.
We haven't had to replace rotors yet.. It does depend on their usage, but I haven't experienced any rotor life issues.

If you intend to do open track events I would stay away from the cross-drilled rotors. Definitely get the slotted rotors. If you're going to only grocery get with your car it won't make a difference in which rotor you used. You don't need to worry about wear of the Baer rotors being greater than another brand rotors. My 14" rotors are doing just fine and I am using the Hawk HP + pads

The Track4 kit in front and a SS4 kit in the rear is exactly what I am running.
It will pull dentures out in my car. It is literally funny how hard it stops.

Before I had this setup, I put about 10,000 miles on an SS4 Plus front kit.
Many regular miles, autocross, drag and one light track day.
When I took them off, the pads were about 1/2 gone, and there was no ridge on the rotor at all. I was impressed.

I think as long as you don't have a super aggressive pad, rotor wear will be negligible.
