Bart,

Give Kevin Kosir at Morrison a call. He's at x222 on the Morrison 800 number. I bet he can answer the question for you.

If you can wait a little while, we are developing the AFX spindle to work in the Mustang 2 applications.

Tyler I already have wilwood 6 piston brakes and rotors, will they fit the new mustangII afx spindle, is the track width the same, I won't need them till the car is completely done in the next 2-3 years anyway. would be great. thanks for the response. -Tom

Will this change any suspension characteristics of the Mustang II (is it taller etc.) or are the main advantages on the brake system acceptance of the new spindle.

Thanks,

Brandon

Bart,
Our stainless spindle is not recommended for heavy cars (3000lbs max), and will not endure the brake torque of the Wilwood big brakes. It is designed for lighter cars with 11" +/- brakes.

Our standard height and drop Mustang II steel spindles both can easily accept big brakes.

Was wondering if there was any news on the AFX Mustang II spindles?

Wow i would really like to get those on the project that were building now.

I take it that lets u do C5 or C6 brakes?

Yes... that would be correct. Any C5/6 brake system will bolt to the spindle.

I should have shipped it back and got my money back. almost 4 grand in modifying the hell out of it. And there are other spindles that fit.

My father used to say if something isn't broke don't fix it. as for modifying the hell out of it ill agree with you it does look like hell now. As for parts being not concentric, engine not in the right place. Do you have proof, measurements pics etc..or is this merely the rantings of a person that has no clue what he is doing? Im leaning towards the latter. Also if they were such junk them why hasnt anyone else had these temendous and earth shattering problems. Either you prove with photos, mesurements and substantual evidence or give it a rest. when you got the suspension 3 yrs ago you should have inspected it and notified Andy of the so called errors in manufacturing and if they were genuine concerns im sure he would have made it right.
