I have researched the crap out of this and get a bunch of different opinions. I have a 67 camaro with LS transplant and 4L80e trans. Currently, my angles are trans is 3 degrees down, pinion is 6.5 degrees down (leaf springs) and the driveshaft is 0.6 down- so basically level. The car runs smooth as silk until it gets over 60mph and then I get moderate vibration. The car is lowered and the trans is hitting the floor now so i cannot move it up any. Would a CV joint cure any of this vibration? I really don't want to have to rip the rearend out to have mounting perches cut off and rewelded by someone. I am positive the vibes are due to the driveline angles as I have eliminated all other possibilities (tires balanced, rear end/splines, trans/motor mounts, driveshaft balanced twice). Does anyone know about this magical CV front joint?
