View Full Version : stack style intake manifold, which one works the best?

i'm wanting to do either a cross ram or vertical stack style intake manifold on my LSX 454. anyone have any experience, good or bad? the three most popular are:

Inglese
Kinsler
Jenvey

This does not answer your question but,

I know Nelson racing was working on an intake manifold that makes some serious HP for LS engines.

I saw it in person, it looked great & really a different design.

It is not on there website yet that I know of.

From what I was told, it keeps on making upper RPM HP where all other manifolds ( ones that fit under most hoods) fall off or hit a wall at a certain point.

As far as all those intake set-ups you posted, an educated guess, would be they all are close to making the same power, if the T/B's are the same size.
