62 Impala what size back spacing? What company should i look at?

I have a 62 Impala but having a hard time finding rims that I like. What manufacture should I look at? I called a company in LA but they didn't make anything with enough back spacing. I like 20inch rims but don't like the thin side walls. So I guess 18inch will have to do. So if you know what will fit my car please let me know thanks.

personal choice, tons of wheel companies out there that will do 18's in all sorts of backspacings. What "type" of wheel design do you like ?

Call Boris at Street Machinery, he's probably fit more wheels on early 60's GM cars than anyone in the country. http://www.streetmachinery.com/

Forgeline, Bonspeed and a host of other companies can make you about anything you like. It all depends on how much you want to/willing/can spend and the design you prefer.
