I've searched the net high and low but can't find the dimensions of the spindle castings on my 72 Skylark. I know they are well represented in the aftermarket so I'm not trying to reinvent the wheel, I just want to model my suspension. There are dozens of chevelles and other a-bodies freely available in the Sketchup 3D Warehouse with detailed interiors, but no spindle models.
I'm interested in the ball joint angles (stud, not the taper angles), pin height, upper ball joint pad height, steering arm mounting hole height etc. If anyone knows the vertical height between the ball joint centers that would be great. :smoke:
