I just wanted to share a couple pictures of my build. Its not finished but it's close to being drivable. My friend Rob Raymer tuned the motor for me tonight. I'll do a little more detailed post later. Im happy for having right at 20k total

That's a pretty sweet street fighter look you got going on. Doesn't matter how much you spent on it as long as you enjoy it!

LS3? What tranny you running?

Thanks man. Its just a aluminum 5.3 with real LS6 heads and intake going through a T56 and 9" with 411's. I will put a cam in it but I just wanted a fun reliable car.

I like the "raw" look! Should be a lot of fun. Is that a battery cut off switch on the dash?

Keep it up.

Yeah I was going for the more road race style. Supposedly battery cut off is supposed to be within reach of the driver

Perfect build! Would much rather have this than some of the $100k builds I've seen. Enjoy the hell out of it!

I like it! It's got all the right parts, while presenting an all business, Mad Max type look!

Thanks guys. The front are 17x8.5 with 245/45/17s using 2.25 wide spacers. The rear is mini tubbed so i used 2 inch spacers on the rear and still can go a inch wider

Very nice, seems like everyone on these sites are doing first gen Camaros, good job making yours stick out from the norm.

Thanks. Yeah there are definitely tons of 1st gen F bodies. But I have loved them since my dad had one when I was a lil rug rat lol . So I had to follow my heart.
My car was a roller that someone was making a street/strip car out of and already had the sheet metal dash. That's where I came up with the road race/ street fighter idea. I am happy with it. My car should definitely stand out from the rest

I love it man, looks a lot like mine. So you had to tub the rear to get those wheels to fit. Im looking to sell my ridler wheels to get some fbody/vette wheels. You think you could fit 9.5's in the back without tubbing? and what size spacer are you running? Also where did you get those bars for the front and rear spoilers?

Yeah it was mini tubbed. Im using 2 inch spacers on the back.
I have read on here about people fitting 10.5 inch wheels on the back so 9.5 should be no problem.
I made the support bar's out of turn buckles I got at Ace Hardware
