Hello all, my name is Josh Sweigart and I'm new to the forum. I've frequented this site multiple times before for details on my manual swap for my 1979 Chevy Impala. I've decided to register because I have some questions I still have yet to be answered and hopefully you all can help! Thank you.

Thank you! Its actually my first car when i was 15. started life completely stock with a 305 and a sound system. When I took it off the road about a year and a half ago, it was sporting a mild rebuilt 400 sbc, posi rear from a pontiac lemans station wagon, dual 2.5 inch straight pipes side exit. Pulled hard. I took it to the track once before I got my holley rebuilt it had a edelbrock and ran just ungodly rich. sputtered till 1/8th mile but once it got going it ran 15.8 at 96. after the new carb i estimated it to be a mid 13 car. over the time I've had the car I've gone through many other cars including a 2011 Camaro ss. Synergy green 6 speed car. ran ebay long tubes, no cats, muffler deletes, and slp intake tube. Surprised a 2004 svt cobra when he didn't think I'd stick with him as much as I did. I miss that car. But after selling the camaro i knew i needed a 6 speed back in my life. and the impala is the perfect candidate.
