My wife found a car she wants, a buddy of mine has it . 468 with TH350 trans. Nice paint runs really well, very streetable, rust free . I can get it for 19.5 any thoughts on this?

The price is 25k, would 19.5 be a good price on this ,based on what you can tell by pics

That's a fair price based on the info provided. Has your wife driven it yet?
Other considerations are the rest of the drivetrain, suspension, etc.
Does it need anything? If not...
Bottom line in this case is what you wife thinks. :)
GOOD LUCK!! Nice looking car.

It needs nothing, very clean , no my wife has not driven it. That maybe the end of it. She is not a classic car girl but likes camaros. It's a non PS car and she has never driven one. He said it would be no problem installing it though. I was just shocked when she said we should get it. Everybody says if your wife wants it find a way to get it, not every wife is like that. I am building a 66 mustang coupe and she cares nothing for it

I would recommend putting it on a lift and look at the bottom side carefully for rust before you pull the trigger. Nice paint doesn't mean much if the floors are rusted through. Also, it may just be a shadow, but the hood fit looks strange.

Yeah it's an after market hood, he took the little rubber bump stops out and the hood dropped back down. Where it was bowed in the middle in the pic. Still talking with him and pending my wife driving it, it will be mine hopefully next week
