I'm running out of places to look. I look on CL, Ebay, and even posted wtb herd and nastyz. I'm looking fir a solid no rust/damage/needs work etc header panel fir my 70. These are starting to seem rare. I don't have any local junk yard either....what all think?

There is a place south of here that sells only early model Camaro's and Firebirds. The town is Searcy, Arkansas. I will call them in the morning. It's a pretty good size salvage yard. Their info is:

Camaro and Firebird Motorsports
146 Riverside Park Rd.
Searcy, AR. 72143
1-501-281-0844

It says '82 and up, but I've called on other stuff too.

I also found one that was NOS GM, but it was way pricey @$650. That one was on Camaro Central.

Also found this one, unfortunately it has rust, but by looking at it, It doesn't look like it has eaten through. Here it is.. http://www.dvap.com/part/1970-camaro-rs-header-panel-70chchd/

Unfortunately, NOS parts are always pricey. If your not going to build a numbers matching car, I wouldn't go the extra expense for the NOS parts. Is there a reason you don't want to a repop? The one I showed you that was rusty seemed like it could've been sand blasted, although, I would call first to mage sure there were no rust through areas.
