I'm having the toughest time trying to figure out how/where to mount my cutoff switch and Ford style remote solenoid with my battery relocated to my trunk. If I understand correctly, the cutoff is presently only necessary if I decide to take the car to the strip? Any pics of current setups would be appreciated.

117178117179I have a Ford style solenoid with the battery in trunk (MAD wiring kit). I mounted it behind a support to keep it tidy and cables short. It is out of the way when I fill the trunk with chairs, coolers, and junk for a Good Guys event. Red/Black wires down the wheel well are stereo and Holly fuel injection computer to side terminals on battery. Big red wire goes from solenoid to hole/grommet in trunk and forward along framerail to starter.
Search for posts on Google, there is a picture of someone that mounted the cutoff in the trunk and they have a removable extension to make it accessible from outside of the vehicle for racing events.

I was thinking about mounting on the wheel tub or even attaching to the brace there. I wanted to see what it was like before I started drilling holes. Thanks for the preview.

I've seen those.

-Far small relay is for the fuel pump.
-Big fuse is from alternator to feed side of Ford Solenoid
-Feed side of Ford Solenoid connects to the battery and the feed side of cutoff switch.
-Only wire coming off of switched side of cutoff switch is the fuse box feed.

Thanks for the feedback. I was really looking got mounting position as opposed to wiring. I think I have an idea of where to mount them.
