What's everyone's opinion on bolt in vs weld in sub frame connectors. Also which sub frame connectors would, you suggest for a 68 firebird, ridetech air ride, ls2, t56? Thanks in advance.

I have used both and with the bolt-in connectors the body would still flex. Once I installed DSE weld-in connectors the body was noticeably more rigid.

I used DSE weld-ins, but used 1/4" "ears" from the subframe to the SFCs . Used sleeves in the SFCs so you could really use force on the bolts holding the "ears" to the SFCs. Seems to work just fine.

Are there any quality subframe connectors that don't require cutting out the floor pan?

I just scored a set of Hotchkis SFC's off my local craigslist. $377 new, but these came with a TVS kit the guy bought. I don't think he wanted anything welded in, so he never used these. Paid $100!
Description says they require no modification to the floor. Rear is weld in, and the front is either bolt in, or you can weld it in also. Although, why someone would permanently mate their subframe to the rest of the car is beyond me? lol

If you noticed, these are on sale until midnight tonight, almost $100 off!
