Will this new 526HP engine need special modifications for 69-70 mustangs or will it basically be the same mods as made if dropping in a Coyote 5.0 engine?
I have 1969 Shelby 350 clone convertible and i would love to keep the stock hood if possible on it but get this engine in there. I dont know if it can be done but with no supercharger it might be a possibility.

Any thoughts or insights welcome.

Fitment wise, it shouldnt be much different than the Coyote. I read somewhere that it may even be a tad smaller. But my thoughts are on the rest of the driveline. What steps has ford taken to help keep the vibrations down.

Would you be using the GT350 transmission as well? It's supposed to be built specifically for that engine.
