Yeah well few lines down was my grousing about switching shops, then switching again.
So I get $20 a day for gas, a dollar raise, and my scanner comes with me to Plainfield.
And honestly the drive isnt bad, the knowledge the extra pay will help, I guess makes it easier.
But two of the guys in the shop I have worked with so its all good, the two girls up front, Tory the manager, Amanda the other girl.
We also have a part timer,Larry. Seems ok.
One of the things to get used to is not having all my tickets handed to me. At Bloomington Mac always handed me all my work( yeah one reason I had production issues in Bloomington, I could only do work given to me, even got yelled at for grabbing work off wall by Mac.) so he could keep my numbers down, limit my production.
Oh well dont have to worry about that any more.
And now my tools are all up in Plainfield.
So if anyone lives near Plainfield Midas, stop by, bring a car, ask for Lee.
Now Tuesday through Saturday I work in Plainfield. And Ill have to work my a$$ off to make its standards as good as my own. Dont know as much about this shop other than Sonnys stories, Like he would give us crap at Bloomington about how great it was at Plainfield/
Oh well, new shop, new chance, so keep the prayers going.
