Hi all, I need some advice on fan relay mounting. I am working on my 69 camaro project. I am trying to keep engine bay as clean as possible with not many wires showing. I have a griffin rad with dual fans. Can i mount relays on the front of the core support? Or should i try to put them in a box of some kind and mount them on the in side of the core support. Plan on not driving in the rain. Mainly a weekend cruiser. Thanks! Would post pics if i could figure it out:confused:

I got a 69 camaro too and am doin similar setup- I got the autorad support and radiator- dual fans- I was gonna put them in front of the support- I got a closeout panel to cover that gap where the hood latch is- also putting a junction block there too- m.a.d. Electrical stuff and American autowire - it'll be all hidden-wires under fender well too

I use (used)... Radio Shack "Project Boxes" to mount relays and junction boxes out of sight. Now that Radio Shack is kaput I need to find another source for those boxes. I usually paint them to match the color scheme of the vehicle.
Here is one in my truck.

And one in my Bad Ast project.

Lots of stuff hidden in there.
I bent this one up for use in the rear of the van. Fuse block, big primary fuse and relays all hidden under a cover but easily accessible.

I just book marked this site.

Lots of styles and prices that are actually better then what Radio Shack had...
