I have been working on a suspension simulation program in Excel. I did this because working in Excel has some real advantages; mainly that is updates instantly and is easy to use. This program will be able to calculate camber curves and steering angle changes (bumpsteer) versus suspension travel for double a-arm type suspensions. (I will also add castor and possibly some other functions as I find time.) I have the sheet to the point that I believe the camber curve is correct. I have been fighting this for a few days, and it hit me today. I am still working on the toe, but I believe that is the same problem I was having with camber.

This is what I'm looking for: I need a few people that have access to commercial suspension packages to confirm that my program is spitting out the same camber curve. I have a program myself, but I want to triple check before I make this program widely available. At the same time, I would also like some comments on how easy it is to use and what other features I should look at.

For any volunteers, please keep in mind that this is a grassroots effort, and I still have a lot of work to do to make it presentable. I need someone that is willing to ignore some of that now, and be patient over the next days as I clean it up.

If you are willing to help, please send me an email

This file is right around 4 megs by the way. When it's finished, I will make it available to anyone who wants it with one condition: if you make improvements, I ask that you share these. I want this program to be free and open to all.

Thanks
Ken
