so my grand plan for 275 front and 315 rear have come and gone and the realization that im prob gonna do a 60/40 split of around town driving and track racing has sunk in. so as much as i want the BFG rival s tires... not gonna happen. so i turn to you for help, are competition tires decent for around town driving? really like the falken 615s but ive been reading they only last 15k miles give or take.. moving toward all season performance tires i like the new BFG sport comp 2 A/S.. but the toyo proxes 4 plus have good reviews, and the nitto nt555 are good also... so guide me, mold me, show me the light... still want comp tires but also i have to put a kid and wife in the car also for car shows.

Find the tire that makes the rear tire size that you want, then match the front if they have one.
I assume you are looking for 18" tires or larger, very few in 17" go that wide.
I loved the BFG KDW NT for their tread, but they had limited widths for 17".
The Nitto 555 have the most size variety from what I have looked at in 17, 18, 19"
The Nitto fits more 'square' on the wheel vs the BFG NT, which appears slightly rounder once mounted. Both have same treadwear rating and are close in price.
The NT555 don't tram-line in the groves/ruts much at all, depending on where you live that may not be a consideration.
