A pic of this '65 Impala popped up on my Facebook feed and I want to know more! It was photographed at the Syracuse Nationals. i saw it run at Charlotte last fall, it has an aftermarket frame and suspension, a big block if I remember correctly and it was very old school NASCAR inspired. I don't remember the owners name, but I checked the finishers list from the event and it appears to be a guy named Josh LaRochelle. I hope this helps.
