I've decided I don't want any anvil parts on my car so these New In Box Anvil 040013 mirror housings need to go. $300 shipped anywhere in the lower 48.
Thanks,
Jim

To a degree, yes.
I paid for parts in March of 2014 in preparation for getting my car into paint in November. I lost my slot in the paint shop in November and again in February because I was still waiting for one of the three parts I paid for. Now I'm back on the list for Fall of '17.
As of August 1st, I still had not received the final part I was waiting for and had paid for up front more than a year previously. If I didn't initiate contact then I never heard a peep from Anvil. When I did contact them, they said that their supplier would let them know when they were doing a run. I work in manufacturing and if we told our customers "Wait. You'll get it when we're ready." our customers would go elsewhere. Looking at the parts I DO have from Anvil does NOT give me a warm and fuzzy feeling.

Just to be clear, I'm not bashing Anvil. I'm just not one of their happy customers. A seventeen month wait is just more than I personally am willing to tolerate. I have a Wilwood brake kit, a serp set-up, a Hydraboost set-up, and a Vaporworx set-up that were all waiting for paint before installation. Just sayin'.

Wow, that's concerning. Makes me wonder if I'm going to run into issues with the Formula hood I want that is now "not in stock".

Do these mount up to the stock location on 1st gen camaro/firebird?
Also is the actual mirror/glass and mounting hardware for them pretty common to source?
