Just picked up a DSE Hydroformed/Single adjustible setup to go with the LS3-525 bought last month.
Weighing if I should upgrade the T56 in the car now for a T-56 Magnum (I do plan on adding a supercharger/turbo in the future)
Researching front brake packages and headers (leaning toward Wilwood and Stainless Works)
Mini tub or more planned, trying to decide if I should keep the GW leafs or go with a Torque Arm or 4 link

You've got some cool pieces for your build.
I won't answer the Tranny question but I will say get rid of Leafs for what it seems you are going for

If you have the DSE stuff up front, I would stick with them and add the quadralink if you decide to change out the leafs. For the headers, I know the DSE frame doesn't allow all LS swap headers. I would call them or I know there are others on this board that could point you in the right direction.

stainless works is what I'm running. The engine at a 3 degree angle puts them right up against the floor. The DSE headers are amazing but the stainless works will do.
Yes get the t56 now and install it. Use a stock f body hydraulic throwout bearing, ls7 clutch, pilot bearing, and flywheel and slap it together.

Not sure what oil pan you plan on using, but the stainless works headers wont fit with the DSE setback mounts. I had them in my DSE frame with C6 pan and the setback mounts (required for the C6 pan). The back tube was against the toeboard area of the floor. I switched to an Fbody pan and stock location DSE mounts and the headers fit well. The F-body front accessories fit nicely as well.

Thanks for the replies and PM's, I have both the DSE set back mounts as well as a set of Dirty Dingo's. I will mock it up and see which works best. Stainless Works has a LS Swap header that is designed for R&P subframes.
The LS3 525 came with a F Body pan and accessory kit.
Thinking I will trade out the Viper internal T56 I have for a Magnum, old one has many many miles on it.
Thanks for the info on the LS7 Clutch.

that is true. The headers would hit the firewall. When using the hooker crossmember the crossmember will come up short also with the dse motor mounts. Try using the hooker mounts, headers and crossmember combo.

I used the autocraft oil pan and the clearance is perfect

If you have the Fbody pan & acc, the stainless works headers will fit with the DSE stock location mounts. I have that exact setup. They will not work w setback mounts. You might be able to cheat with an engine plate that moves the engine toward the front. On the DSE sutup, its the stands that are setback, not the engine plates. For the trans crossmember, I tried 3 different ones before getting the G-force crossmember. It fits perfect. All the others hit the floor or didnt fit correctly. Scott
