sup duders, so im torn between tires. i dont spend some $$ on tires and ive always been under the impression that bigger is better in the rear end. i have 275s now but im moving to 18x10 rear and 18x8 front. im hoping to run 255x35x18 front and 285-305x35x18 rear. ive always been a BF dude and i like their stuff but they max out @ 275. i like the nitto 555 and the falkens. also dont mind the pilot sport or eagle f1s. so i come asking to you the people of the fourms for your input and reviews.

I went to pilot sports from r888's and for my use I like them much better. Likely a different story if we still had a road course but for street driving the pilots are better everywhere...they better be for the price! I'm running 275/35 front 315/30 rear.

does the different aspect ratio lower the rear to level out the car? are you on lowered springs? how does the rear tuck well into the wheel well?

Not to be a bandwagon guy, but I love the Falkens.

I have had BFG KDW2's, BFG Sport Comp 2's, and Dunlop Direzza Z2's, and the Falken 615K is better gripping, and is smoother overall than any of the others I mentioned.

I do about 6 events a year, and lots of street driving.

Falken makes a 295/40-18, which looks great with a 255/40-18 on the front. Ran that combo on my 70 GTO.
