Not THE END but the rear end! The only thing that has not been touched in 15 years finally is on its way out. Started getting som horrible noises from the Dana 60 last week. Time to freshen up the ol diff.
Now I have everything apart but am really confused about this Dana 60 and the case breaks. In an article I have been reading it says that there is a 3 series carrier for 4.10 and down and another carrier 4 series for 4.56 and up.
So the problem is my gear is a 4.10 but it has a spacer, do I have a 4 series gear in a 3 series carrier?

I figured it out it is a 3 series carrier with a 4 series gear that is why the spacer is needed. I found a 4.10 oem Dana/Spicer gear for it.
