I purchased purchased this cab and chassis in late October 14 with intentions of building a fun driving truck that I could hit some autocross courses later this year . Chassis is boxed and x braced In certain areas, ridetech front coilovers, healthy ls6 and t56. https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2015/07/20141015_175643-1.jpg (http://s803.photobucket.com/user/dkauffman05/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20141015_175643.jpg.html)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2015/07/20141119_210508-1.jpg (http://s803.photobucket.com/user/dkauffman05/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20141119_210508.jpg.html)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2015/07/20150622_194845-1.jpg (http://s803.photobucket.com/user/dkauffman05/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20150622_194845.jpg.html)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2015/07/20150621_194212-1.jpg (http://s803.photobucket.com/user/dkauffman05/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20150621_194212.jpg.html)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2015/07/20150704_171314-1.jpg (http://s803.photobucket.com/user/dkauffman05/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20150704_171314.jpg.html)

Looks like you have a really good start. What are you running for EFI managment and throttle body?

Thanks guys. The efi is a stock gm harness heavily reworked and a stock throttle body that I made an intake adapter for and machined a press fit adapter for the the throttle body to accept the carbed style air cleaner.https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2015/07/20150102_2025021-1.jpg (http://s803.photobucket.com/user/dkauffman05/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20150102_202502-1.jpg.html)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2015/07/20141223_1639121-1.jpg (http://s803.photobucket.com/user/dkauffman05/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20141223_163912-1.jpg.html)

Wow, nice work. I take it you will be switching to speed density? Also, is that the Holley mid rise intake? Sorry to bother you will all the questions.

Damn it, another question. What accessory belt drive are you running? I really like the low mount alt and a/c compressor. Thanks

Yes, I will be running a speed density tune. The belt drive is 4th gen fbody with a cbm power steering bracket and the a/c compressor is an sanden 508 with home made brackets. The intake is a holley single plane drilled for efi.

Diggin' that setup, and like the tubular bracing on there!

If you need help keeping it cool, LMK!

Fast forward, I managed to get the truck up to Good Guys Charlotte and Autocross all weekend. The truck did great despite loping a power steering pump Saturday morning and tearing up the sway bar end links on the front several times. All in all I had a blast and manage to put about 500 miles on it since. https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2015/12/20151017_164027-1.jpg (http://s803.photobucket.com/user/dkauffman05/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20151017_164027.jpg.html)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2015/12/IMG_20151026_195038-1.jpg (http://s803.photobucket.com/user/dkauffman05/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20151026_195038.jpg.html)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2015/12/IMG_20151109_193037-1.jpg (http://s803.photobucket.com/user/dkauffman05/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_20151109_193037.jpg.html)https://static1.pt-content.com/images/pt/2015/12/20151115_144222-1.jpg (http://s803.photobucket.com/user/dkauffman05/media/Mobile%20Uploads/20151115_144222.jpg.html)

Wow, that's a lot of meat. Any mods required to fit? Love the truck.

No body mods , I might raise t h e front up a bit or look into fabing some new front inner fenders. The front tires rub a bit in hard cornering .

OK, Thanks. I was planning to run a similar setup. I was going to try 5" bs in the front. Where do the fronts rub?

They rub on the very outside of the tire about 1" after the inner fender begins.

Awesome looking truck! It's so clean and simple yet so cool looking! What color is that? It looks like the satin silver from BMW.

The truck looks great. The stance with that wheel and tire look perfect. Really dig the intake setup with the stock throttle body. Nicely done.

That counts out going with the 5" backspace, then. lol
