NEED -- Speed Sensor for the EFI/Data recording/speedo

I am wanting to install the Speed Sensor from my AEM on the Ghia Monster (old school VW for those of you wondering LOL).......

What I've got is a 091 bus trans with 930 CV's (I'm guessing that would be a good place to mount it)

Requirements from AEM is that it needs to a Hall Effect Sensor

Has anybody done anything along these lines or possibly that can point me in a general direction to get me started or maybe is there a complete setup out there that I could modify a little to make it work?????

I think they can work like a crank trigger essentially? Have you considered GPS?

The real kicker is that a guy from Brazil pointed out a supplier to me that is only about 20 miles from my house, So I'll be waiting at their front door tomorrow when they open.... How cool is that!!!!!!
