Minitub and exhaust

Some of you did a minitub and lowering on a first gen F-body. What are the direct consequences for the exhaust system? Can you run a full system from front to back, what diameter exhaust and mufflers are still possible? Pics would be great.

While I don't have an answer for you yet, I do have a '68 with minitub, 3" lowered springs, and I'm gonna try to stuff a 3" Pypes exhaust out to the rear. I'll report back when it fits :icon996: ... or not :banghead:

3" exhaust will work. Obviously craftmanship is a premium.

I know Kyle ran 3" all the way out with a pretty sizeable Borla muffler on the Twister camaro...so it can be done, it might just take a little time. :)
