We went to Byron Dragway Saturday.
Dale's first pass was 12.76@110 shifting at 5800-5900.
I changed the rev limiter to 6600 and he upped the shift points to 6000-6100. Ran a 12.43@112 followed up with 12.6.
This is with Goodyear F1 Supercar tires and no nitrous, yet.
Should be no problem doing 10's with drag radials and the 225hp shot.
He turned 16 in June and this was his first time at this track. As you know he assembled the engine and most everything else on the car.
Made me proud!
Oh yea, me driving Cadillac Attack ran a best of 12.30 @114 with NOS and Drag Radials the same day. Maybe I wont give him that NOS bottle yet.

thats really good on just F1 super car tires considering those tires arent that good for drag launches. i would be proud too

Best 60 foot was 1.9
We weren't paying attention to RT, since it doesn't affect the ET and he wasn't bracket racing.
thanks

Jeff,

How do you like the SLP headers on Y Gen? Would you use them again?

Thx. -Neil

The SLP headers fit nice and are very well made. Most of the other ones for 3rd gens have some problems, crossmember clearance, ground clearance etc.
