Checking to see if anyone here can provide pics/info on how much they narrowed their 10 or 12 bolt rear end from stock in a 1st gen firebird/camaro with the Ridetech 4 link suspension with welded on lower coil over brackets.
Brakes used would be Wilwood with internal drum for parking brake and 2.5" offset.
From stock width, what have you gotten away with when shortening your rear end? Anybody have pics so I can see e-brake line routing etc?
And rim offset is not a concern as new wheels will be made to work with chosen width.
Mini-tubbed car pics with narrowed rear end and 4 link please would be great.
Thanks.

How about this... -anyone- who has the Ridetech 4 link rear in their 1st gen F-body let me know your rear end width you narrowed to and wheel backspace and width.
Thanks.

Hey bud,
I just now saw this post, here are some shots of the underside of a stock width car. I'll see if I can pull up some shots of our 48 Hour Camaro. On your wheel size, you'll want to measure up for the width/backspacing, specifically off of your car. On these cars, it is extremely common, that the backspacing numbers be completely different.
Mocking up the pieces:

This is actually one of our display pieces, for shows, but it shows how everything fits up:

Ok, I got the rear end down to 56" taking 2.5" off each side.
Leaves ideal room for the weld on lower Ridetech brackets and access to Wilwood brakes and e-brake cables.
I narrowed mine a total of 5 inches so 2.5 inches per side I also had the weld on brackets.
