I think this is one you are talking about.. there is a pic on the first page of the columbus coverage and and a pic from the front on the second page (the expanded coverage not in the magazine)..

My girlfreinds dad has 3 p1800 volvos, all restored to original and one was his race car.

Dang, that red/black thing has a nice lookin paint job. Don't dig the wheels, and the interior kinda dosen't fit, but the paint is bitchin.

Not to divert to much from the original point of the thread, but I've got to tell that I think Volvos absolutley kick-ass.

My wife has a '01 V-70 t (turbo) wagon that drives like it's on rails, it's brakes will put your face through the windshield if your not prepared, and will haul ass through any mountain range with ease.

But best of all, it's seats are some of the most comfortable I've ever sat in. I'm trying to find a way to get them into my '69 camaro convertable....If any of you are trying to find a seat that's not totally race, but nicer than late model camaro seat (that I currently have in my '69) the volvo seat is tops with me.

What do you want to know?

The builder is Russell Tilkes out of Golden, CO.. he built it for a customer who is into NASCAR.

I might be able to get you his contact info.. PM me.
