Good morning,
I got a 78 firebird with Ridetech stage 2 front coilovers and arms.
I was planning to buy a bolt in 4 link to match.
The thing is I came across a practicality free universal ridetech 4 link. Anyone use this in a second gen f-body.
I feel I should mention I have dse mini tubs as well.
Thanks!

I wouldn't even attempt that, honestly. The direct fit is 100% custom tailored to work with the application at hand, universal will share nothing with that kit, and cause more headaches and time wasted in the end. The Ridetech 4 link isn't bad in cost, I would just go that route (I think $1300?).

I agree with this.
With the car having a sheet metal frame, there really isn't any good place to weld the mounts on to. After seeing guys attempt to put universal kits on the 1st and 2nd gens, spending the money on the bolt on kit, isn't something that you're going to regret.

Honestly that's what I was thinking, just thought I would run it by you guys first in case there was something I was missing. My project moves verrrryyy slow I get excited when I have a chance to push it forward.

If its cheap enough, pick it up and resell it. Is it parallel or triangulated.
I might be interested if price is right
