transmission mount help please

hello all . I have been told I cant put a poly transmission mount on if I only have rubber motor mounts is that right and why not. cheers kev

You can put poly on there. If you have rubber engine mounts, a solid trans mount is not recommended.. But again poly or rubber is fine.
