Tremec TKO 600 5 Speed Transmission - out of S197 Mustang Race Car

One of my cousin's shop's customers is selling a Tremec TKO 600 transmission out of a Rahagen-built S197 Mustang race car. This transmission was a spare. The customer no longer wants it because he is upgrading to Magnum transmission.

Excuse the dumb question, but this will only work with a ford engine/bell housing, correct?

Not a dumb question, I'm pretty sure the tko came in different variants for different manufacturers.

How many miles? I'm assuming zero. If so, that's a damn good deal for someone.

Another question what up with the blue RTV between the tail housing and case was it apart once?

It has been apart, as evidenced by the silicone. I'll get some more information on its history.

you will have to change the input shaft to one that will work with splines of pontiac flywheel and clutch, likely a 26 spline if its first gen, thats what plan on doing with it, spending 850-1000 and having a hardened input shaft installed, then upgrading output shaft to a hardened unit, ill plan on having a clutch that will fail before the input or output shafts as a 800-1000 clutch is cheap compared to grinding a transmission
