Thanks man. :) Should be a Unique Camaro killer. :seizure: Though they're on two different levels I guess. Coincidentally I'm bringing a Mustang to SEMA that's kind of aimed at being cooler than the Unique 05 Mustangs.

Thanks for the info on the Foose Camaro. I really like it, it's super clean and I think he tried a couple different things on it. I was hoping it might be at SEMA so I could get a better look at it.

The Camaro is Touring with Unique at the GoodGuys events. It's nice, not overdone or over the top. I really dug the interior with some killer seats.

I haven't seen it posted anywhere, but is hugger orange the only color available on the Foose 69?

yeah its cool, but starts at $124,900 with a basic drivetrain ?
wonder what it cost without Foose's name on it ?

I am with you on this one Jason.
I saw the car at the Fall Kruse Auction.
(the 40th anniversary 350R was there as well)
It is a very nice well thought out car.
Clearly though the price is greatly influnced by the Foose name.
I just don't see paying a big premium for just a name.
Keep in mind I am the guy that refused to wear "Jordache" or "Calvin Klein" jeans in high school.
I do however want to be fair and state that I am thankful that guys like Foose are in the industry. He challenges everyone to keep raising the bar. Foose also thru the media has created a much higher level of interest in this great hobby from the mainstream populace.
If you got the jack and gotta have a Foose car then thats okay with me.

When I saw the car (Kruse Fall auction)I looked it over pretty close for almost an hour. The guy working the booth kept making excuses by telling me that this particular car was a "Demo car". Hence the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail was not performed to the level one could expect when ordering a car. :dunno:
I do love the seats in the car..

$120K seems a bit high for a ZZ4 powered, relitivly mild PT type car, but in the same sentence, I have done the math backwards and forwards costing out building new Camaros, and I will bet it would need to be $100k to make any money. So adding a 25% Foose factor is probably not out of line. You just have to wonder how much more car a buyer could get having a car built somewhere else? I know for sure you get more then a ZZ4 with us. I would guess DSE can get you more, probably mini tubs at least.

You would think that there "demo car" would be their best work. I was no impressed a all.. I "heard" Foose gets 20k royalty per sale.. Foose builds some bad ass cars and is a very nice guy, but I have to believe this "deal" is all about the $$$..

I think Foose is king....but, there's a couple of things about this car I hate.......color choices (c'mon Foose, two tone EVERYTHING?!?!)......and the extended rockers make a timeless design look fat and frumpy.....I think I'll keep my car thanks.....

Is it just me or is that a 9in under that car. That is not IRS especially if it uses a Watts link. a Watts link is to control side-side motion on a solid axle car. Correct me if I am wrong.
Also the laid over coilover how effective are those. I have always read that a shock is most efficient straight up and down and as you lay them over they begin to loose the effectiveness.
Does anyone know what kind of front suspension that is? Just curious.
Foose does make some killer looking cars but I would like to see some numbers.
0-60
0-100
standing 1/4
skidpad
braking 60-0 100-0
as well as track testing it against a new GTO or Mustang just to verify the $/performance ratio. So we can see if your actually buying a performance car or just something to talk about.

I hate to dig this up again, but I was looking at a couple of pictures and I knew there was something wrong. No mirrors! Why shave them? A) I like to use my mirrors when I drive and B) it looks like a worm.

Foose almost always shaves evrything, including mirrors.
