I really don't plan to hit any tracks, but I well be getting on it at times. It will have a BBC and a 700r4 trans with a 12 bolt rear. I want to do a budget pro touring build. And I need some ideas on the rear set up. Like should I use all adjustable control arms, rods ends or urethane bushing?

Hey bbcmonte.
With a factory 12-bolt you can use non-adjustable lowers no problem. We make no strength distinction between round, rectangular and boxed so you can choose based on appearance. Uppers are nice to do with Roto-Joints in most every case as it's a nice balance between comfort and awesome performance. Throw some lowering springs, a standard rear bar and some good shocks and you're set.
In any case, let me know if you need any specific part numbers and I'm happy to help.

bbc, We have a few different kits for you to consider. You say a Budget Build - what is your Budget?

I usually have to buy one part at a time.

Had Coolride air springs on my 71, best cash I ever spent. On budget thoughts, single adj front shock wave, lower strong arms, cool ride in rear with single adj shocks OR single adj covers all around w/lower strong arms. Use manual paddle switches, good pump, small tank .
