Are there such a thing? If so, anyone have a picture of one? This 69 El Camino doesn't have any, and we're starting to think it should. Having issues with over extending shocks when we jack it up.

Mine 70 chevelle did.I shaved them down for a little more suspension travel. Hit up yearone guarantee they have them and there should be a small hole in the frame where it can bolt to.

Just pops in (might need to throw some silicone lube on it, however).

So this is my Uncle's car. He had a better look today and they are in there. I have no idea why we can't keep shocks in this thing. He seems to think it's because of the RPC lower control arms we put in it, but I know someone else with a 66 Chevelle and he has had no issues with these arms. I know these are a cheap arm, but he just needed to replace his stock ones as the ball joints wouldn't stay in them. But now we're at the point of just tack welding new ball joints into his old arms lol.

I'm going to start a new thread regarding this issue...

Oops the top one slips in the bottom one bolts in...lol do I gold star still for being kinda right. It has been 10 plus years since they replaced .

If your having issues with the shocks I have to think that it very well might be the shocks are actually bottoming out with those control arms
