I'm assembling the rear end for my car. It's a 9 inch with a strange center section. I put gasket maker on the rear end put the gasket on and another bead of gasket maker and torque to 30 ft lbs. I have done this twice and both times it has tore the gasket and just pushed it out. The center section is seated good criss cross torque in increments.the rear end is art Morrison all new and the center section is strange iron pro case. What's going wrong. Any help would be appreciated

First of all what kind of gasket maker? Now most would simply use ultra black silicone or anaerobic gasket maker with no type of paper or fiber gasket.
BUT when I install most gaskets like paper, rubber, etc I use small amount a of weatherstrip adhesiveadhesive on one side, and ultra black .

It was permatex the right stuff gasket maker I got a gasket that has steel in between paper. What do u think would be best use that or just do without gasket and use the permatex
